Jay Corey Roberson
1974 – 2021
On Sunday evening, June 6, 2021, God called Jay Corey Roberson home. He was born on March 30, 1974 to Willie and Janie (Linda) Roberson.
Jay was a native of Saint Simons Island. He attended Glynn Academy High School and Georgia Perimeter College. Jay was a machine adjuster for many years for Mead Westvaco, Sunny Delight, and Cenveo.
Jay enjoyed being and hanging out with family. The love of his life is his daughter Kelsey.
He leaves to cherish his memories, daughter Kelsey Roberson. His four siblings; Will (Amanda) Roberson Jr., Tonda Roberson, Carla Humphreys, Vincent (Christina) Roberson: Five nieces, Taneisha, Ayesha, Cayla, Madison, and Alanna: His grandmother, Susie Alexander: and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
Jay loved sports, fitness, Chevy Muscle Cars and music production. He started making beats and raps at the age of 12 and continued throughout his life. Also, nothing made him happier than a good football game featuring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and restoring, upgrading, or adding to one of his Chevy automobiles. He was also considered a self-made grill-master, and an outstanding chef.
The family thanks you sincerely and gratefully appreciate all acts of kindness, consideration, and expressions of sympathy extended during our bereavement. Your kindness will always be remembered.
